sam and i had a blast working on this. the first part is kinda repetitive but stick with it :)
with drums this is going to rock. really adding an interesting feel to 'twtw'
sam and i worked on a track he recorded a few days ago today - after about 45 mins or so we'd changed it a fair bit.
this is what we came up with. should be a monster.
i thought this was kinda interesting to listen to... its part of what i was planning for longsong and u can really hear me start to figure it out. pretty cool.

figured this out all on my own. such a beautiful song. took a while to get it sounding ok but that was the best i could do without spending more than half hour on it.
ive been thinking a fair bit about the way we (ross, sam and I) approach writing music... i feel that we'd be better off bringing 5 or so ideas each (like riffs, or whole song feels) to a meeting between us all and basically working through each idea with turning each of them into a song being the focus. that way we'll be able to get our ideas out, all contribute evenly, and recordings wont take too much shape before we add vocals and drums.
ok ok i know theyre out of time and dont fit particularly but it was heaps of fun putting it together and i learned a lot about the program. THAT IS THE MAIN THING hehe :D
ok so sat down and recorded 1 guitar + 1 bass track, 1 take for both... this is as rough as it gets but its going somewhere :D
